Cinchers and Corsets: IMPORTANT NOTE!!! All pricing on this page is RETAIL. If you have a business, resale number, are otherwise "in the trade," or are buying in quantity, please contact us with proof of same to receive our wholesale price list on these items. If you are familiar with corset pricing from other companies, you will find even our retail pricing highly competitive.

We currently offer 2 styles of waist cinchers and 10 styles of corsets. Any Castle Blood Haunt Couture women's offering with a cincher can be upgraded to a basic velveteen corset in the Pointed or Gilded Age styles for a flat $40 fee. [Less expensive than buying the corset separately.]

CINCHERS are one-piece construction, steel boned in 3 places, fully lined, and have a laced closure through reinforced grommets. They are not intended for waist reduction.

CORSETS are 10- or 12-piece construction, fully lined, fully steel boned, and have a steel busk closure in the front and a laced closure through reinforced grommets in the back. These are REAL corsets, not the flimsy, unlined, mass-produced stuff you see from the wholesale lingerie companies. Most of our styles will produce 2"-4" of waist reduction.

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS: Our "base price" cinchers and corsets are made of cotton velveteen lined in two layers of cotton-poly poplin and edged in cotton-poly bias tape. Back grommets are available in nickel (silver color), brass (gold color), or black anodized brass (black color). Boning is flat 1/4" steels with white plastic coating; overbust styles have 1/4" spiral steels in the front of the corset that can be gently bent to better accommodate the curve of the bustline (unless the style is one that calls for a flat front to produce "up and over" cleavage). Lacing is available in black or white ONLY, especially in the longer lengths required for the corsets (5 yd. to 8 yd.). Corsets have their interior waistlines reinforced with twill tape for extra strength. ANY ADDITION TO OR VARIATION IN THESE DETAILS WILL INCUR ADDITIONAL FEES.

FABRICS: All cinchers and corsets are currently made in cotton velveteen in the full range of Haunt Couture colors. Other colors or fabrics are available on a custom-order basis for an additional fee. The additional materials fee for leather is at least $50 (could be higher, depending on the kind/amount of leather required.). Shredded fabric skirting, as seen on our Banshee, Shredded Sorceress, and Witch, can be put onto any cincher or corset style for a flat $25 fee.

DELIVERY: Corset delivery times, especially on custom pieces, can be up to 60 days. Please check our eBay auctions (under seller ID castleblood.com) or the “Specials” page on this website (see menu above) for ready-made items.

SIZING: For best fit, you should buy a corset that is 2"-4" SMALLER than your NATURAL waist size. Because of the laced closure, both cinchers and corsets have about 2 inches of "play" in them, to accommodate wearers of slightly different sizes. The “laces closed at” size in the chart below represents the 2”-4” smaller CORSETED measurement. Please take into consideration the amount of “compressible flesh” you may have. A thin person may have trouble compressing even two inches, while a fleshy person may be able to easily compress four inches. We do not recommend compression greater than four inches except for experienced tightlacers. We also do not recommend that you buy a corset that laces completely closed; if you lose weight, the corset will no longer fit you. In fact, a corset that laces completely closed with little to no compression is probably TOO LARGE for you. Note: For suitable styles for cross-dressers, look for the keywords "longline" and "long-waisted" in a corset's description.

In-person fitting is STRONGLY recommended, especially on overbust styles. If you are concerned about sizing or fit via mail-order, we can make a “fitting muslin” for you for a flat $20.00 fee. A one-layer corset will be made for you using heavyweight fabric and mailed to you. You try on the fitting muslin, OK it or describe/mark/pin-in needed changes, and then ship it back. The busk and boning in the muslin will be re-used in your final corset. If you do not get a fitting muslin or do an in-person fitting with us, we WILL NOT guarantee the fit of the final product. Also, we WILL NOT make any overbust style via mail-order without a fitting muslin. IMPORTANT NOTE: we do NOT sell a "fitting muslin" as a standalone product--it MUST be ordered as an "add-on" to an existing corset order, per the chart above.

The Styles

The Front-Lacing Cincher (base price: $50.00) As seen on our Gypsy. Great Renaissance Fair-ish look. Corset comes to a point in front and has a placket behind the lacings. Available in S (10), M (14), L (18), XL (22), same as our costumes.
The Spiderweb Cincher (base price: $50.00) As seen on our Dark Lady and Vampire Queen. This cincher laces in back, comes to a point in the front, and has metallic spiderweb embroidery. Available in S (10), M (14), L (18), XL (22), same as our costumes.
The Pointed Corset (base price: $140.00) As seen on our Shredded Sorceress. This corset comes to a point top and bottom in the center front and back. It works very well on most figure types, regardless of cup size and waist length, and produces spectacular waist reduction. Looks great as an alternative to a wide belt. 11" front busk closure, plus back lacing. Available in even waist sizes 18"-36" (sizes 4-22). The Longline Underbust Corset (base price: $160.00) This corset is similar to our very popular Pointed style, but is about 2" longer overall. Pointed top, rounded bottom. It works very well on most figure types, regardless of cup size and waist length, and produces spectacular waist reduction. Looks great as an alternative to a wide belt. 12" front busk closure, plus back lacing. Available in even waist sizes 22"-30" (sizes 8-16). Broader size range coming soon. Triple-laced Pointed Corset (base price: $175.00) Same style as the Pointed Corset above, except it comes with two additional lines of lacing on the sides, enabling it to fit more different waist sizes. It also works very well as an alternative to a wide belt. 11" front busk closure, two sets of side front lacing, plus back lacing. Available in even waist sizes 18"-36" (sizes 4-22). The Gilded Age Corset (base price: $140.00) This is the "classic" Victorian corset style, popular at the end of both the 19th and the 20th Centuries. The top hits about nipple level and does not provide full breast coverage, so it cannot be worn by itself in public, but looks great over or under clothes. This corset fits best on larger cup sizes (B or better), and short- and average-waisted figures. It produces moderate waist reduction. 12" front busk closure, plus back lacing. The Sweetheart Corset (base price: $160.00) This is the same "classic" Victorian corset style as above, only done as an overbust style. The "standard" version of this corset fits best on short- and average-waisted figures with a "B" cup. (Note: this overbust style requires in-person fitting or a muslin, especially for larger or smaller cup sizes.) It produces moderate waist reduction. 12" front busk closure, plus back lacing. The Longline Sweetheart Corset (base price: $170.00) This overbust style comes lower on the hips than the standard Sweetheart. The "standard" version of this corset fits best on average to long-waisted figures over 5'4" with a "B" or "C" cup. (Note: this overbust style requires in-person fitting or a muslin, especially for larger or smaller cup sizes.) It produces moderate waist reduction. 14" front busk closure, plus back lacing. The Extra Longline Sweetheart Corset (base price: $170) This overbust style is the same as the Longline Sweetheart, but is cut straight across the hips. The "standard" version of this corset fits best on average to long-waisted figures over 5'6" with a "B" or "C" cup. (Note: this overbust style requires in-person fitting or a muslin, especially for larger or smaller cup sizes.) It produces moderate waist reduction. 15" front busk closure, plus back lacing. Available in even waist sizes 26"-32" (sizes 12-18) (more soon!). [Note: Example shown is in patterned suedecloth.]
The Extreme Longline Pointed Top Corset (base price: $180.00) This overbust style is the same as the other two longlines we carry, but the style lines are pushed to the maximum. The cups come into points, and the bottom front is cut longer. The "standard" version of this corset fits best on average to long-waisted figures over 5'7" with a "B" or "C" cup. (Note: this overbust style requires in-person fitting or a muslin, especially for larger or smaller cup sizes.) It produces moderate waist reduction. 18" front busk closure, plus back lacing. Available in even waist sizes 24"-38" (sizes 10-24). [Note: Example shown is in Oriental rayon jacquard brocade.]
The V-Front Longline Corset (base price: $170.00) This overbust style is the top of the Extreme Longline spliced onto the bottom of the Longline Sweetheart, with the “V” styling in the front emphasized even further than in either of those previous two styles. This style was developed as a Pointed Top corset wearable by people who were too short for the Extreme Longline. The "standard" version of this corset fits best on average figures over 5’4” with a "B" or "C" cup. (Note: this overbust style requires in-person fitting or a muslin, especially for larger or smaller cup sizes.) It produces moderate waist reduction. 14" front busk closure, plus back lacing. Available in even waist sizes 20"-38" (sizes 6-24). [Note: Example shown is in black and purple satin with metallic jacquard brocade.]
The Wench Corset base price: $140.00) This overbust style works best on average to long-waisted figures with narrower hips. The two panels with the straps are in "industrial strength" spandex, and produce bust-out cleavage. The more you have, the better it looks! It produces mild to moderate waist reduction. 14" front busk closure, plus back lacing. Available in even waist sizes 24"-34" [S (24), M (26), L (28), XL (30), 2X (32), 3X (34)].
